| What type of submissions you are looking for: | We are primarily looking for fiction and non-fiction works that speak to the American Experience. Examples of the types of novels we’re looking for are the pulp fiction mysteries in the tradition of Marlowe, the Old West dime novels and the sweeping sagas of Michener. Is your book in the tradition of the “Great American” novel? If so, we want to read it. We are currently interested in the following genres: historical fiction, mystery, romance, suspense/thriller, military, horror and biographies. We do not publish: 1. Erotica – novels may have tasteful sex scenes however if your work would be considered primarily pornographic in nature, please do not submit. 2. Stories that glorify violence against women or children 3. Short Stories – at some future point we may choose to publish a collection of short stories but we are not currently looking for them. 4. Gay, lesbian, bi or transexual stories; works may have characters that are GLBT however can not be the primary emphasis of the story. |
