“Monkey Puzzle Magazine is a quarterly literary journal published by Monkey Puzzle Press in Boulder, Colorado. Monkey Puzzle publishes imaginative, thought provoking prose, poetry, hybrids, translations, artwork, and photography. We appreciate writing that exhibits intelligence and creativity, with a bit of socio-political awareness and humor.
Monkey Puzzle was founded in 2007 by Nate Jordon. He’s the Chief Editor, Designer, Publisher and Creative Director behind Monkey Puzzle – affectionately referred to as the “Monkey-in-Chief.” Nate holds a BA in English from California State University, Fresno and an MFA in Writing and Poetics from the Jack Kerouac School of Naropa University. He’s published poetry and prose in various periodicals and journals and since 2005 has worked as a freelance writer and editor.”
