Information about your publication:	Voices Israel is an annual of international poetry published by the Voices Israel Group of Poets in Israel. Volume 35, Voices Israel 2009, is due out in May 2009 (Helen Bar-Lev, Editor). Submissions for Voices Israel 2010, Vol. 36, will accept submissions May 1, 2009 through October 10, 2009.
What type of submissions you are looking for:	The new editors of Voices Israel seek quality poetry in English from poets all over the world. Poems and poets may have a connection to Israel, although this is! not a requirement. Please send up to four poems of no more than 40 lines each. We prefer you submission to be by email, in a single Word (DOC or DOCX) or Rich Text Format (RTF) file, one poem per page, with your name, address, telephone number and email on a separate cover page (part of the same file) and the pages numbered consecutively. Include a list of your poems on the cover page. Review is anonymous and names and identifying information should not appear anywhere but on the cover page. There is no fee for submitting poems. However, a donation of NIS 30 / US $20 entitles you to a copy of the anthology. After publication, the price of the anthology will be NIS 40 / US $20.
Information on Contests:	Poems submitted to Voices Israel may also be submitted to annual Reuben Rose Competition under separate cover. Send two copies (high quality printing) for the competition, one without identifying information and one with contact information (name, a! ddress, phone and email), along with a cover letter that includes your contact information and a list of the poems in your entry and the entry fee. You may submit an unlimited number of poems to the Reuben Rose Competition, along with an entry fee of US $5 / NIS 15 per poem to: John Dicks Voices Israel PO Box 236 Kiriat Ata, Israel 28101 Poems must be submitted separately for the contest.
