The Gopher Illustrated

The Gopher Illustrated emerges from the desire to consume hefty, satisfying cultural content that is worth keeping. We envision a cultural publication in which content is associative, obsessive, ludic and endures in time. Instead of covering the current and the immediate – staples of the internet era – we aim for stories, pieces and ideas that take time, are globally local and ultimately timeless. The “Gopher” is leisurely but is composed of meticulous, opinionated, crafty, original work within its obsessively designed pages. All content is contextualized within networks of meaning; offering internet-like margin content and text and visual add-ons.

LITnIMAGE

LIT: Short for literature. But in our case, we're really talking only fiction, and very short fiction at that. Our tastes in lit cover forms, themes and subjects from all over the proverbial map, as it really boils down to one thing in the end: Is it a great story or not? At LITnIMAGE we're partial to ones that are. IMAGE: LITnIMAGE features art in the here and now.

The Associative Press

The Associative Press is a nonprofit literary and arts journal, printed annually. With no outside funding, TAP is free to publish without mandate. All our staff are volunteers. Any money generated above operating costs is rolled into micro financing (through KIVA--www.kiva.org) or charities
