Information about your publication:	Bumble Jacket Miscellany is an independent print literary magazine and has been created with the purpose of publishing the best poetry and short fiction, regardless of style, genre, or approach. While we do feature talented and sometimes well know writers, we also pride ourselves on selecting writing based on its merit, and not the author’s biography. All rights remain with the contributors.
What type of submissions you are looking for:	New and emerging writers are welcome. While we accept work in any style or aesthetic we prefer work crafted in good imagery, that demonstrates artistic intention, and that tells a good story. Bumble Jacket Miscellany proudly supports a NO SUBMISSION FEE policy. This being said, we have a very limited staff of volunteers and ask for your patience in reviewing your submissions. If you haven’t heard back from us within a 3-5 month reading period, feel free to drop us a line. You can assist us in a timely response by following our guidelines. Thank you!
Information on Contests:	$25 PRIZE The Bumble Jacket Miscellany Poetry Prize Commencing with our Spring 2011 issue: Open to poetry in all styles, including short narrative poems. Please follow our submission guidelines to be considered. No reader’s fee required. The prize offers a small compensation to an exceptional poet featured in Bumble Jacket Miscellany. Winners will be announced by March 10th for Spring issues and by November 20th for Winter issues. Winners who are notified, but fail to respond will forfeit the right to claim the prize. Editor reserves the right not to offer the prize if entries are insufficient.
