Colorado Review is committed to the publication of contemporary fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. We are equally interested in work by both new and established writers. CR does not publish genre fiction or short shorts (flash fiction), nor do we subscribe to a particular literary philosophy or school of poetry or fiction |

Short stories, personal essays, memoir, and poetry. Book reviewers should query before submitting. The best advice we can give is to be familiar with Colorado Review before submitting. Examples of work published in CR are available on our website. |

The 2011 Colorado Prize for Poetry opens October 1; the deadline is January 14, 2011. The winner receives a $1,500 honorarium and the book will be published by the Center for Literary Publishing at Colorado State University.
