| Information about your publication: | Sparkbright magazine aims to showcase new and upcoming writers alongside more established talent. It publishes every six months in December and June, taking email submissions on a rolling basis. It publishes poetry and short fiction, and each issue is available as a free PDF from the website. |
| What type of submissions you are looking for: | Submissions of poetry (with a preference for free verse, rather than fixed poetic forms) and short fiction. Fiction should be no longer than 1500 words, unless it has been arranged with the editors before submission. We don’t place any limits on the themes or topics explored in the writing, but in the future we are considering introducing themed issues, which would be publicised on the website in advance. Email submissions only, in the body of the email – no attachments. |
