The journal is edited by Bill Church, an Instructor of English at Missouri Western. The Mochila Review is one of the few journals staffed by undergraduate students. These undergrads choose to take the course as an elective. The student staffers are involved in the entire editing and publishing process. |
| What type of submissions you are looking for: |
Mochila looks for highly crafted submissions of poetry, fiction and nonfiction. We want work that speaks to the human condition, stories that stay with us, images that linger. We want work that is emotionally complex, and accept submissions from both emerging and experienced writers. Submissions should be of the highest quality – every word matters. Content is open, though we rarely publish genre fiction, abstract poetry, and memoir. |
