We are aficionados of language, connoisseurs of the written word, passionate pursuers of perfect prose. We are kindred spirits to those who sleep with a journal at their bedside to record the random wanderings of their sleeping minds. Our mission is to provide a place for a new generation of writers, novelists and poets to hone their skills, express their thoughts and have their voices heard. We want to give a place for those who have not yet found a venue to circulate their works due to the strictures or constraining paradigms of other publications. We seek to expand the accessibility to writers of prose and poetry that is distinguished by intelligence, idiosyncrasy and courageous experimentation. We want to hear your voice! |
| What type of submissions you are looking for: |
We are looking for fresh and original works of fiction of all genres. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. If you would like your submission to be considered for a specific issue (if for example you have a splendid horror story, you may want it to be considered for the October publication), please indicate that fact with your submission. Please submit only original, unpublished work in English. Short stories of up to 8,000 words will be considered. Simultaneous submissions are acceptable as long as they are clearly indicated as such and the editors are notified immediately that the work has been accepted elsewhere. |
