| Information about your publication: |
Poetry, that time-traveling hobo with a room at the Ritz, doggedly knocks on your window like a scheming friend at midnight. A poem can whisk you away; to a Harlem basement in 1961, to an imaginary crime scene, to a memory you had tucked away beneath alcohol and Star Wars trivia. When you arrive—finding yourself stanza-deep in Frost’s woods, limboed at a crossroads like a Dickinson dash— send AEROGRAM a postcard, won’t you? |
| What type of submissions are you looking for?: |
AEROGRAM publishes original poetry with art sent on a postcard. Your correspondence should be a standard postcard: 35-51 inches square of potential creative energy for you to burn however you’d like: a triolet paired with a wine-stain watercolor, haiku embedded in found objects, your sticker collection given way to a picto-poem. We prefer postcards with original words and original art, though we will consider all postcards we receive. We encourage collaborations. Please only send work you have permission to use; please provide the necessary small print. |
