CARPE ARTICULUM LITERARY REVIEW: The Journal of the Stars The Original cross-genre, full colour, international literary review featuring Short Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry, Novellas, Screenwriting and Photography. We provide over $10,000 Annually in cash award grants to emergent writers and photographers, as well as supporting young writers and their sponsoring classrooms in high school and middle schools.

Colorado Review is committed to the publication of contemporary fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. We are equally interested in work by both new and established writers. CR does not publish genre fiction or short shorts (flash fiction), nor do we subscribe to a particular literary philosophy or school of poetry or fiction

Fear of Monkeys

The Fear of Monkeys is an E-Zine that features politically conscious writing. The plan is to present issues on a series of wide-ranging topics. Submit an article, story, graphic or poem now and be heard. This is an invitation for those of you who wish, or know someone who might wish, to write something vaguely political in nature. The purpose of this Zine is to give voice to those who have written a piece of prose or poetry, and to some degree, graphical or programming art.

Caper Literary Journal

Caper Literary Journal accepts mostly poetry and very few outstanding pieces of prose. We are interested in wr! iting that is unique, edgy and culturally aware. We appreciate play with languages, magical realism and eclectic, experimental work. However, all work is welcome so long as it does not rhyme or is used as a soap box. We also publish "author features" and other writing projects.

Lines + Stars

Lines + Stars began as a means of establishing a new creative forum in Washington, D.C., a city that all-too-often coasts solely on its more mechanistic pursuits. While many of our contributors hail from the D.C. area, we've also expanded our writer-base to include national and international voices.

Autumn Sky Poetry

Autumn Sky Poetry publishes four issues per year. Every issue contains ten! poems by ten different poets. Each poem is one that caught my eye, held my attention, said something profound. The poets may hail from all across our lovely planet and their poems may speak in many different voices, but each one is worth savoring. We are interested in both formal and free-verse.

Moon Milk Review

Moon Milk Review takes its title from Italo Calvino’s short story, “The Distance of the Moon.” Our aesthetic veers toward the same ”otherlands” or “slipstream” in literary style, including an appreciation for magical realist, experimental, metarealist and realist works with an interesting spin. Currently, MMR runs monthly issues of free fiction and a multi-media gallery with artwork and music.

The Oleander Review

The mission of the Oleander Review is to enhance the writing community, expose students to the editing and publishing processes, exhibit both previously uheard voices and new work from already prominent writers, and exhibit the diversity fostered by the intellectual community at the University of Michigan.

Corium Magazine

The corium is the dense inner layer of skin beneath the epidermis. It includes connective tissue, blood and an elaborate sensory nerve network. In other words, it is what's going on beneath the surface. We want stories and poems with substance and connection. Words that touch on nerves and stay with us. Evoke and awaken us. Make us feel something.

Polyphony On Line : Magazine for International Literature and Art

The Whistling Fire

Conceived in December 2008 as a collective effort of MFA students, The Whistling Fire provides a forum where fresh voices share creative works of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.
