Several sites, including The Philadelphia Examiner, are reporting that Vibe magazine is closing its doors as of today? This magazine was huge at one time, and if it can fail, any magazine can fail.
I’m a big fan of magazine, literary, and the like. I recently wrote a blurb here on Fangoria. I think we all have our magazines we love, and if you review your budget you probably have a little to buy a magazine. Buy one you grew up with or whatever, but I think if the magazine you grew up loving fails, you’ll wonder if you might have been able to help out with a subscription.
You might not care, but I personally do not want to see our magazines go away, and I think at this point a lot of them are facing closure.
