We’ve had this poll on our site for awhile now, and I thought that maybe putting it on the blog would be a little better than on our message boards or on a poll site (that didn’t work!). Anyway, the poll is below, please vote.

The reason I ask this question is simple. Newspapers are having so much trouble now that I believe they should do just about everything they can to get things going for them. I think publishing poetry and short stories from the community would be a good way to build relationships and get people talking.

Newspaper readers tend to be a little older, but you had better believe that if you publish a soccer moms kid’s poem, you’ll have her running all over the place to get people to read it. In small towns I think it could make a big difference.
