Call for Entries: 2011 Los Angeles Book Festival

The 2011 Los Angeles Book Festival has put out a call for entries. The festival is looking for “self-published or independent publisher non-fiction, fiction, biography/autobiography, children’s books, young adult, how-to, cookbooks, science fiction, business, wild card (anything goes!), spiritual, photography/art, poetry, foreign language, romance and mysteries published on or after Jan. 1, 2008.”

The festival is looking to spotlight books that do not get enough attention from the publishing industry. The grand prize is $1500 in cash and a flight to the festival. Anyone interested should visit: http://www.losangelesbookfestival.com/ for details. Deadline is January 25, 2012.
