Belle Reve Literary Journal is a weekly updated online literary experience. We strive to capture everything that makes the South and its residents unique through the best contemporary literature we can find.<\/span><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

What type of submissions are you looking for?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/th>\n

We are currently accepting submissions for poetry, flash fiction, short stories, creative non-fiction, and art. We also are interested in excerpts of longer works that can stand alone. New and established writers are welcome to submit. We periodically publish author interviews. If you are a southern author, by birth or by choice, e-mail the executive editor to set up an interview. Belle Reve is a place for southern writers and\/or southern inspired work. Submissions need not be southern if the author is from the South. We are, however, interested in anything and everything that makes the South unique and beloved. From hospitality, diversity, superstition, and history – the South has it all.
