\"\"The Anti-Misogyny has just launched as an online gallery of feminist art and writing, and this summer, will launch a bi-monthly journal of the same. Our mission is to use art and writing to resist misogyny, because we\u2019re tired of the misogyny our culture is drenched in: tired of rape being for all intents and purposes decriminalised, tired of women being murdered at a rate of two a week, tired of the glass ceiling, the motherhood penalty, the gender pay gap, street harassment, slut-shaming, victim-blaming, mansplaining, men\u2019s rights activists, incels, and pickup artists. We\u2019re tired of primetime television discussions about feminism having gone too far, and we\u2019re tired of women\u2019s art being ignored or under-valued. The Anti-Misogyny Club is our attempt to do something about all of that. We challenge notions that women aren\u2019t as brilliant or interesting or talented as men. We refuse to accept men\u2019s violence against women as the norm. We recognise the intersections of gender, race, sexuality, disability and class. And we foster a culture which uplifts women and girls, empowering them to resist the misogyny they face. We aim to challenge harmful gender stereotypes, advocate for policy and social change, and offer positive visions of a world without misogyny as we build a community of artists, writers, and feminists with a common goal: ending misogyny. Submissions to our gallery are always open, and we publish all submissions which meet the theme, though it should go without saying that we will not accept anything that is homophobic, transphobic, ableist, racist, or otherwise hateful. We accept pitches for features to be published in the journal, and pay a flat fee of \u00a350 for each accepted pitch.<\/p>\n

Submissions<\/h3>\n

We accept poetry, fiction, nonfiction, spoken word, music, video, and visual art with a feminist theme. We interpret the theme loosely and in a variety of ways; it might be an illustration highlighting street harassment, an essay on the intersection of misogyny and fatphobia, a song about reproductive rights, or any other creative work which explores feminist resistance to misogyny.<\/p>\n
