\n\"\"About the Publication<\/h3>\n

Culterate is an online literary magazine led by a team of youth from all over the world. We’re committed to discussing society, history, and arts. We do this by publishing works of poetry, prose, and article by emerging and established authors of all walks of life. Our goal is to discuss anything and everything relating to society, which makes us not overly restrictive on what kinds of theme authors may bring up in their works. We do seek submissions relating to each issue’s theme, but if there isn’t any, the sky’s the limit! Since our launch in October 2024, we have proudly published the works of 20 talented authors from 11 countries across Europe, America, and Asia. To maintain a continuous flow of fresh voices, we open our submissions four times a year, releasing issues for spring, summer, fall, and winter. We’re looking for unique voices, and you are a unique author. If you’ve got something to say, a story to tell, and a love for writing, then our invitation is open for you.<\/p>\n

Submissions<\/h3>\n

While we value pieces that touch on historical periods and arts in some way, it’s not a requirement. We want to discuss the world, society. Your piece should be according to the theme of each issue, but it shouldn’t hold you back from interpreting it creatively, as long as it falls under the subjects of social sciences. You also may write on subjects that normally fall under STEM, such as environmental studies, psychology, health sciences. Under the condition that it is correlated to its social aspects in some way(e.g. its ethics, impact on economy, public perception, etc.) ARTICLE – We accept a wide range of articles, including essays, interviews, reviews, opinions, news, and research. – You may submit up to 3 pieces at a given time – The word limit is 5,000 words, not including title and references – If there are any sources, please cite them in APA formatting PROSE – We accept a wide range of prose, including flash fiction, creative non-fiction, and short stories. – You may submit up to 3 pieces at a given time – The word limit is 5,000 words, not including title and references – If there are any sources, please cite them in APA formatting POETRY – You may submit up to 5 pieces at a given time – The word limit is 1,000 words, not including title<\/p>\n
