RIVET features new literary work that breaks from the confines of traditional literary journals to surprise, delight, and challenge readers. We publish emerging and established authors, from the U.S. and around the world.<\/p>\n

Submissions<\/h2>\n

RIVET seeks writing that crosses boundaries of form, content, and style \u2014 either subtly or radically. Send us works of fiction, poetry, and nonfiction that are too risky for traditional publishers. We tend toward work that goes beyond mainstream realism, e.g. experimental, surreal, fabulist, hybrid. We strongly encourage writers of color to submit to RIVET.<\/p>\n
