Please don’t blame me
\nWhen your trains derail,
\nWhen power plants fail,
\nAnd it’s really not my fault
\nWhen you don’t get the mail,
\nOr not warned about the hail.<\/p>\n

I do what you tell me to do,
\nAnyway, I haven’t a clue
\nWhat will make you happy
\nOr why you cry & get sappy!
\nAnd please don\u2019t say \u2018Lazy
\nYou make me!\u2019 Or even crazy
\nWhen your life gets so hazy.<\/p>\n

Truth is, I can’t think for myself
\n(although you suspect I must),
\nSo if your dreams turn to dust
\nYou should only blame yourself!<\/p>\n
