You do not know her, not really
\nNor do I, neither did the men
\nWho took her and did whatever
\nBestial strangers do to fleshy things<\/p>\n

One sneaker found at the edge
\nOf the small, once-safe town
\nTwo pitiless killers guzzling a beer
\nSomewhere in western North Dakota<\/p>\n

Local authorities will do the Christian things
\nPermitted underneath the Big Sky
\nAnd many of the private militia guys
\nWill wonder why she went out unarmed<\/p>\n
