At noon, a woman plants lilies.
\nShe hums, as if expecting
\nsomeone to join her.
\nThe moon is pale,
\nthe sunlight pristine,
\nan earthworm pushes
\nthrough a fresh mound
\nof black dirt.
\nThe woman inhales spring.
\nShe hums again.<\/p>\n
