Dilemma<\/h1>\n

I tread on a thin line
\nLike Adam\u2019s choice<\/p>\n

Between:
\nPassion and purity,
\nGratification and deprival<\/p>\n

And you like Eve\u2019s
\nRuminates on the desperate need:<\/p>\n

Of sabotaging your chastity
\nAnd becoming a traitor
\nOf your virginity<\/p>\n

We both are biologically conditioned
\nAnd tread on a thin line
\nOur actions predetermined and destined<\/p>\n

To be one and we are lost each other
\nIs this the only way
\nTo find oneself?<\/p>\n

Amitabh Vikram Dwivedi is an assistant professor of linguistics in the School of Languages and Literature at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, India. His research interests include language documentation, writing descriptive grammars, and the preservation of rare and endangered languages in South Asia. He has contributed articles to many English journals.<\/p>\n

His most recent books are A Grammar of Hadoti<\/em> (Lincom Europa Academic Publications, 2012) and A Grammar of Bhadarwahi<\/em> (Lincom Europa Academic Publications, 2013), and A Grammar of Dogri is forthcoming.<\/p>\n

As a poet, he has published around fifty poems in different anthologies worldwide. Until recently, his poem \u201cMother\u201d has included as a prologue to Motherhood and War: International <\/em>
