And none were mistaken.<br \/>\nSidewalks don\u2019t end; they only ever pause,<br \/>\ntoo much traffic on the road less traveled<br \/>\nBattered suitcases line the road because<br \/>\nwe lost our way as the road unraveled.<br \/>\nOne day we reach the break at sidewalk\u2019s edge<br \/>\nlose hope in the road overgrown with moss<br \/>\nand wonder why we ever took the pledge<br \/>\nto trail Kerouac, SIlverstein, and Frost.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Because the roads are rough where they exist<br \/>\nand where they don\u2019t we must simply persist.<\/p>\n<p>###<\/p>\n<p>Kristie is a junior at University of California, Santa Barbara. While she does not yet have the ideal r\u00e9sum\u00e9 and\/or history of publication under her belt at the current time (something she is diligently working on), she aspires to establish herself as an exceptional writer. Kristie is one of those fools who still believes that a strong voice paired with a firm conviction in one&#8217;s art holds the capacity for greatness.
