The blanket of darkness releases its hold,
\nin anticipation from winter to spring,
\nwhile each passing minute thaws into the light
\nrevealing its slumbering secrets.<\/p>\n
Such vulnerability merits respect,
\nfor surely these tenuous moments in time
\nof sweet, gentle blossoms and soft, tender shoots
\nare subject to weathery perils.<\/p>\n
Transitional focus brings strange ironies
\nacross snowy gardens all newly exposed.
\nSo raw are the changes, a new destiny
\nto be found in this fresh transformation.<\/p>\n
Miraculous season, the Spring Equinox –
\nreturn of the bright, all her colors reborn
\nin a rainbow of flowers, and trees blooming full,
\nand the song of the birds and the bees.<\/p>\n
