Snowe<\/p>\n<p>Dresses, jewels, mirrors, chandelier.<br \/>\nA human\u2019s ball is a vampire\u2019s feast.<\/p>\n<p>But first a victim to find,<br \/>\nOne who is young and fresh.<\/p>\n<p>He sees her across the room,<br \/>\nSkin like ivory, hair like gold.<br \/>\nIntroductions are made,<br \/>\nA dance requested.<\/p>\n<p>Her smile is hypnotizing,<br \/>\nHer eyes so blue.<br \/>\nBut her neck is what attracts him,<br \/>\nAnd the blood flowing beneath the skin.<\/p>\n<p>The dance ends and she begs a walk outside.<\/p>\n<p>She thinks of love,<br \/>\nHe thinks only of feeding.<\/p>\n<p>Blood on the gravel,<br \/>\nFangs in the moonlight.<\/p>\n<p>A scream unheard,<br \/>\nThe music is too loud.<\/p>\n<p>A handkerchief to clean his chin,<br \/>\nInside a new dance begins.<\/p>\n<p>He turns and moves back inside,<br \/>\nAnother victim is required.<\/p>\n<p>Rebecca L.
