The Vampire and the Ball<\/h2>\n

Dresses, jewels, mirrors, chandelier.
\nA human\u2019s ball is a vampire\u2019s feast.<\/p>\n

But first a victim to find,
\nOne who is young and fresh.<\/p>\n

He sees her across the room,
\nSkin like ivory, hair like gold.
\nIntroductions are made,
\nA dance requested.<\/p>\n

Her smile is hypnotizing,
\nHer eyes so blue.
\nBut her neck is what attracts him,
\nAnd the blood flowing beneath the skin.<\/p>\n

The dance ends and she begs a walk outside.<\/p>\n

She thinks of love,
\nHe thinks only of feeding.<\/p>\n

Blood on the gravel,
\nFangs in the moonlight.<\/p>\n

A scream unheard,
\nThe music is too loud.<\/p>\n

A handkerchief to clean his chin,
\nInside a new dance begins.<\/p>\n

He turns and moves back inside,
\nAnother victim is required.<\/p>\n
