\nthe good trash, glass and paper
\ndestined for re-incarnation
\nand as I stepped outside,
\nthe air cool and pearly white,
\nthe low hanging sun smiles,
\nthrows a late afternoon warmth
\nover my body, a blanket of silk.
\nFor a moment I stopped to think,
\nthen thanked the low hanging sun
\nfor being there, the last defense
\nagainst a cold deep unto death….
\nIn our immense Universe, wall-less,
\never expanding, is mostly night,
\nutter and fearsome darkness, all
\npitch-black and cold, a coldness
\nbeyond comprehension or life—
\nso the light and heat of every
\nmyriad star is precious, precious\u2026.<\/p>\n
