Description

‘Beauty and Lamentations of African Wilds’, expresses deep admiration of panoramic sceneries of Africa. Written in short proses and poems, it creates a picture in mind of the enthralling experiences of Africa,’ a chaste beauty’. From the profound and tranquil oceans and majestic snow-wreathed summits to the enchanting and sprawling African Savannah which the teeming wildlife calls home. The book reveals the beauty, strangeness and plight of wild animals whom the Authors regard as friends. It grieves for the obliteration of African heartlands and the senseless killing of wild animals of Africa. With sorrow, and shrewd observations the book reveals the troubles of the wildlife ;the lose of habitat to humans and the starvation and the slow extinction of the endangered animals .It is a voice for addressing urgent issues raised by environmentalism ,conservation and animal rights.

Book excerpt

Arise paramour, arise you are deep in the land of dreams
Behold the rolling plains’ splendor, and singing streams
Bask in savannah twilight, find joy in the warm gleams
A thousand turns in the bush, the less trodden path follow
The fragrance of wild roses breathe a gulp, a soft kiss blow
Drink life from sweet wild sounds, as gentle the music flow
Golden-streaked clouds glide, drown in awe as they drift along
Gently sashay with acacia as wind blows, casting shadows long
Let the breeze embrace, listen to the chaste wind’s song
Heavens sprinkled with starry constellation, what a sight
And the moon, a smiling friend to lonesome soul, in the night
Find delight and healing and peace, may your soul be light
