Making an eBook is easy . Making a good eBook is difficult. Making an excellent eBook is very difficult unless you know the proper procedure to make it happen. Then it is not difficult at all. When you follow this step by step guide and use the template provided, you will produce an excellent eBook with less time and effort than you would spend struggling through the trial and error method. This guide assumes you have already written, edited, read and reread your book .
These are the common first steps before putting your work into eBook form. Make sure your manuscript is in first class condition before going through this procedure so that you can avoid the all too common error of producing an unprofessional product. Even if the book is constructed well and technically excellent, if the manuscript is of poor quality, the eBook will not be first class. If you intend to put your book on the Amazon website, it must be converted to mobi. They will do it for you, but you have no control over the result. If you follow this guide and use this template you can view the results in all the various readers and judge if you want to change anything or not. In all likelihood you will find that you will want to tweak it a little.
