God is so loving and kind that He made in His own very image and likeness to rule the earth and reign over it. He created Man to be a victor on the earth, not a victim of wickedness, aggression and oppression, but a master over all. Neither did God ever intend man to be a source of misery and author of pain to man. Man was not created to oppress and suppress man, but to subject spirits of wickedness and violence, and arrest, resist, stop and forbid their activities and operations on the earth. That’s why the above scripture says Jesus Christ gave Himself for our sins that He might deliver, rescue us from this present evil or sick world. So it was sin that brought evil and sickness into the world in the first place, and it’s God’s will that we be rescued from all evil, including sicknesses. That’s Divine healing and deliverance at work… Divine healing God’s healing system, but you must understand how it works and to appropriate it. Even if you were to pay a million dollars for this book, it’s still very insignificant compared to what the book will do for you and your family in their generations if Christ tarries… God wants you healed and healthy, He’s still in the business of healing people and He’s willing to heal you. Chapter Two Healing Is NO MORE A Promise You cannot demand for a promise, but you can demand for an inheritance or a right. You can only remind the promise maker or plead with him to fulfill what he promised, and he will if he is ready, willing and able… Healing is no more a promise to hope for and trust God for. To us who are saved, it is a gift and an inheritance from God to be taken by faith as our right in Christ. It is not negotiable at all. A man who is given a promise waits for it until the one who promised it is able and ready to fulfill his promise, but one who has or is given an inheritance lays holds on his inheritance at anytime he needs and wants it, and goes on to enjoy it. No negotiation, no apology. You cannot demand for a promise, but you can demand for an inheritance or a right. You can only remind the promise maker or plead with him to fulfill what he promised, and he will if he is ready, able and willing, but you request or demand for your inheritance as a right and possess it. A promise can take years to come through, it may even fail, but an inheritance simply needs a title deed to possess it right away and rightly utilize it at your own convenience. I don’t even need to ask God to be healed or to live healthy. God has already given me the go-ahead; yes, healing is my right and provision in Christ. I just need to grab it and decide to live healthy. Do you need to go back to the grave and ask your father before taking possession of your own inheritance well written in his Will or Testament? Then you might have to wait for eternity! I remember the day I woke up one morning, heavily attacked by a cold to the point that I could not breathe. As I was about praying, a voice told me ”no, it is normal cold because you did not cover yourself last night while you slept. So you got afflicted”. But guess what! I laid my right hand on my noses and shouted with a holy anger, “back to sender in the Name of Jesus Christ”! Immediately, the so-called normal cold disappeared as mysteriously as it came. And that was all. Because I told myself I should not and cannot be affected by climate or weather. Has God ever been affected by any weather or climate? No! How then should I, a god in the likeness of God be affected by it? I refuse to take that from the devil or anybody on earth or in heaven. I am in the class of God. I did not read anywhere that Christ or any of His apostles ever suffered migraine. Even if they did, I know beyond doubts that all that Christ suffered; He did it so I can be exempted as I live for Him (2 Corinthians 5: 15). Rather Christ was a terror to sicknesses and diseases, and when He was going, He commissioned us to do the same and even more. The Father sent Him with immunity against sicknesses and all harassments of the devil, and He told me, “as the Father sent me to seek and save that which was lost, to go about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, even as I myself I live above sicknesses and afflictions, so I send you in to the world to do the same works, and even do greater than these”; (John 20: 21, 14: 12). So then what is divine healing? What is divine health? And who is it for? Is it for some class of people or for everybody? How do I access it? If Christ actually dealt with our sicknesses on the cross as we are saying, why then are many still sick today, even in the church? If Christians should not be sick as we say, why do even great and anointed men and women of God fall sick, and some never recover from it? These are questions we meet every day. Just follow along, and open your heart to receive and believe what the Spirit of the Lord is saying, but let me say here that life is a choice. God doesn’t force any of His gifts and blessings on anyone no matter how He loves you and no matter how much busy you are in the church. Imagine a man who dies and leaves his will to his children. No matter how much he desires them to live well, and no matter how they suffer and cry, he cannot come back and help them. His job was to work in his lifetime and leave an inheritance for his children. The highest he could do could be to leave witnesses and lawyers to help them know what it takes to possess the fullness of their possession or inheritance. The responsibility is now theirs to work things out and enjoy whatever their father left to each one of them, according to what is stated in his written will or Testament. When my biological father left, they were contention over his will. I was there when they read it and told us who the successor according to the paper read was. I left the village and put everything behind; focusing on my ministry and the glorious and beautiful destiny that life in Christ holds. My people told me that it was actually forged, because according to them, my dad wrote nothing by himself. They would have loved me to protest, but I told everybody, that if he wrote no will, nothing can be done, except that God will avenge it, because what is written is written. It is the written testament that has the final say when a man is no more. That is exactly what God did for us through the death, crucifixion and resurrection of His son Jesus Christ. God is no respecter of persons. He regards neither title nor anointing. It is not because you are preaching everywhere and healing the sick that sickness will fear and exempt you. None of God’s blessings and gifts comes to us by title or anointing, or our position in the church or in the society. This includes healing. Before leaving, Jesus left a will for us, and also left a witness and helper who will know what it takes to possess the fullness of our possession. Romans 8: 16-17: The SPIRIT itself BEARETH WITNESS with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Romans 8: 26-27: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knowethwhat is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 1 Corinthians 2: 9-10, 12: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God… Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. One thing satan has succeeded to do today is to blind people’s mind to disbelieve the Holy Spirit and His gifts. Some refuse to see Him as a person, while others say the Holy Spirit left the earth with the apostles. Son now, what is divine healing? What is divine health?
