So here goes…

Julie Bragonier Minnick, is an author of young adult novels. She loves to explore the spiritual, the strange and the paranormal.

Julie plays and coaches roller derby on the West Coast, which means she hits girls on skates…just for fun. (Yeah me!) Oops, that wasn’t third person.

She loves to travel and has a pair of “adventure pants” which usually gets her into sticky situations abroad, yet those precarious moments make delicious stories. Readers will experience the places she has been and the adventures she has seen when they read her novels.

In her spare time, Julie watches way too much reality TV. That means she sits on the couch mocking the girls who cry when they get kicked off The Bachelor…when they’ve only known the guy for two hours. Come on, girls. (Yes I just admitted to watching The Bachelor.)

Julie is also a fan of video games. Okay, she’s actually an obsessive gamer chick.

Julie loves hearing from young readers, so send her an email at Julie@JulieMinnick.com.

Go to JulieMinnick.com to like her Facebook page. But these are not your grandma’s Sunday school angels! They are young, Gothic and seductive.

When the Dark Ones, a group of ominous students show up at her boarding school in the English countryside, Trinity Heart is convinced they are behind a series of strange and tragic events that began soon after they arrived. When a quartet of stunningly beautiful students arrive at school, immediately confronting the Dark Ones, tension escalates. At a gothic, steampunk, masquerade ball the tension snaps and Trinity’s life hangs in the balance.

Book excerpt

Trinity lay in shock: cold, bleeding in the snow. Her twin brother cradled her head in his lap, crying. The demon Roan had sunk his animal fangs into her side, ripping her flesh away. She was dying; her grisly premonition was coming true.

While Trinity’s blood stained the snow red, Roan and the other demons fought against her angelic friends. If someone had warned her months ago that this is where her life would end, she would not have believed them. Vampires and Werewolves would have been easier mentally digested than the ethereal horror and glory she was witnessing. As she bled out, her wound gaping, her mind wandered back to the beginning.
Mid-November, the first snow had yet to fall. Trinity Heart, a junior at Shadowland Academy stared out the window of the commons room. Shadowland was an elite boarding school that lay hidden in the countryside of England. Dusk had fallen, twilight was near, and the air was dark and mysterious. A light fog covered the school grounds; hovering over the grass and making the setting feel…
“…devious,” she whispered.

The moonlight shined down on Trinity creating quite a delicious sight. The way the moon lit her creamy white skin, black hair and sparkling blue eyes was picturesque. Her cherry red lips contrasted with the monochromatic portrait.

“Full moon tonight,” said Nicholas, Trinity’s twin brother.

He leaned in the doorway watching his sister. She glanced at him over her shoulder and turned her attention back to the sallow shadows the moon cast over the landscape.

Nicholas was every bit Trinity’s twin. He too had midnight hair, pale skin and blue eyes. People often commented that he looked made-up like a doll, but Nicholas hadn’t worn make-up a day in his life. Their appearance was not the only thing the twins shared. They had an uncanny connection the way many twins do. They could feel each other, know what the other was going to say, and even predict the other’s next move.

“They’re out there,” Trinity whispered. “I can feel it.”

Nicholas walked silently over to his sister and searched out the grounds through the window pane. The glow from the full moon lit the gothic architecture of the buildings, each dark shadow enhancing the drama.

“Something bad is…” Trinity started.

“I know,” her brother finished.

They waited in silence. Watching.

“Ever since they came, nothing’s been right,” Trinity said, her breath fogged up the window.

“They destroy everything they touch,” said Nicholas.

“Including Cole Hopkins,” Trinity added, sadly.

“They’ve only been here since September and yet their darkness has permeated everything,” Nicholas said.

“Cole used to be such a good kid. We’ve known him since grade school,” said Trinity. “And now the Dark Ones are changing him,” she added, referring to the newly-enrolled students at Shadowland Academy.

Cole Hopkins was from San Diego, California. He had sandy blonde hair, blue eyes and just enough freckles to make him look like the surfer that he really was. He was Captain of the Rugby team, received good grades and was genuinely a nice guy. Last year he was voted in the year book as, “sophomore with the most potential to change the world.” Everyone liked and respected Cole.

Author Website

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Julie-Bragonier-Minnick/1427877010809086?focus_composer=true&ref_type=bookmark

Best place to buy your book

Trinity Heart: Snow Angel

Trinity Heart books appeals to young adults looking for something mysterious, provocative, and deliciously dark.

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[3,10

post-1604","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-book-listing","category-fiction

https://i0.wp.com/www.everywritersresource.com/selfpublished/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/trinsa.jpg?fit=1393%2C765&ssl=1
["GET
