Wilson

Author Bio

I have written since I was but a wee lad. To me, writing was a means by which the present world could be supplanted with a world that was … better; different; more engaging. My first stories were comic books written on almost any type of paper I could get my hands on. That sufficed for a while, but soon I felt the need to do more; to draw not with a pencil, but with words.

To facilitate this next step, I discovered an old Royal typewriter which had been in our family for ages. The old black relic had sat in the basement unused for a number of years and I needed to replace the ribbon in order to continue this new phase of discovery. Once the machine was cleaned and the new ribbon spooled through, I put it to use churning out one piece of incomprehensible fluff after another–I didn’t write for other’s eyes, only my own and that was good enough.

That urge to write has never left me. I put it on hold for about twenty years while I entered the “real world” and worked, raised a family, et ceteras. I began to write again in earnest about eight years ago to work through an idea that I had which dealt with the origin of God and mankind. The culmination of that quest is the novel I have published called “The God Principle.” What I had initially intended to be just a short story, has ballooned into something of an epic which covers most every topic that has confronted people of all faiths and religions. I don’t intend to offend with my novel, but rather to just introduce another perspective.

In an age where we all claim to herald diversity, why are we really adopting a bunker mentality? For many of us, it is because certain teachings were ingrained in us from a very early age and when it comes right down to it, most feel that they do not possess the “Spirituality” to discern whether religion as they have been taught it is correct or in error. Sadly too many people who cannot understand an aspect of their faith simply choose to reject that faith and maybe even grow to hate it. Would it not be better for all concerned to learn that God wants us all to have a relationship with Him?

That is why I write now and hopefully, prayerfully will be able to continue writing in the future.

Description

The GOD Principle is an Antediluvian trilogy which traces the arrival of the Watchers on earth through their nearly six hundred years on the planet leading up to the Great Flood. This is not your typical Noah’s Ark story and instead focuses on the Watchers, their offspring with human females called the Nephilim and the subjugation of humanity.

Throughout it all, one old shepherd stands alone and apart in repudiating the scourge of the Watchers and the Nephilim, Ord of Darom. Through him, the Watchers are eventually defeated and their children’s rein ended, but not in the way one might think.

The Leader of the Watchers is a powerful spiritual entity named Samyaza. He along with his partner Azazyel, and one hundred ninety-eight other Watchers come down to earth with the specific intent of taking for themselves brides from amongst the humans to facilitate the creation of a race of beings they could call their own.

This not only alarms the humans, but infuriates the creator of the humans upon the earth, ten almost infinitely powerful Celestial beings. It is only after much debate among these Celestials that an agreement is reached to allow the Watchers to bring forth their Celestial offspring to see just what will transpire.

Of these Celestials, one named Helel, determines not to allow the Watchers or the Celestials to infect his creation and endeavors to keep them separate from The Others. As a point of derision, Helel’s people are soon referred to as The Chosen Ones.

It is Samyaza’s eldest son and the first born of all the Celestials, a Nephilim named Hiwa, who poses the greatest threat to The Chosen Ones, however. After believing the Chosen Ones are responsible for abducting his son, Hiwa will stop at nothing until he sees every last one of them killed.

The story takes many twists and turns as you learn about Ord and his family; the Watchers through their leader Samyaza; the Nephilim and their unbridled passions—the males coming up second to the females. One thing is certain: You’ve never read a book about the Great Flood quite like this.

Book excerpt

Hiwa faced his father with anger rising in his veins. The news of Azazyel’s imminent departure did not sit well with the Nephilim and he promptly sought out his father as the Watcher was overseeing workers in a quarry. Hiwa was joined by his brother Hiya who also was not at all pleased with the pending arrangement.

“I simply do not understand your ire, Hiwa. You cannot possibly expect Darmon can ever be regarded as your equal. He and his household must remove themselves from this place or they will be vanquished,” Samyaza explained.

“I do not hold Darmon in the same obvious disdain you hold Azazyel, father. Darmon has been a loyal cousin and friend to both Hiya and I. Of course I do not regard him as an equal, but that does not mean he does not have a place within our future kingdom.”

Samyaza shook his head, “You do not know what it is you are saying, Hiwa. You are looking at your cousin through eyes clouded by sentiment; you need to look at the relationship with eyes of practicality. Darmon is a Nephilim just as the two of you are. He also has the need to conquer flowing through his veins. Eventually, the three of you will run into one another and a battle will ensue. Rather than taking out your rage and ire on the humans, you will take it out on one another. This tactic plays into the hands of Helel. I cannot abide the Celestial having been proven correct in his assessment of our creation.”

Hiwa dismissed his father, “I do not care to hear your fanciful tales of spooks and specters, father; save such for fireside tales. What I do know is that Darmon is as close to me and Hiya as anyone. Our days of wilding have bonded us in a fashion not even shared with my younger siblings. For you to say we would be at odds with one another is a deep wound.”

“Darmon is a faithful lieutenant to us both, father; such is not so easily dismissed,” Hiya added.

Samyaza eyed his sons, “Endo taunts him. She rouses him in a manner which is detrimental to our eventual cause. I have seen Darmon’s anger when roused. Too many of the villagers have found the beaten and battered remains of their young daughters tossed aside after their use had been exhausted by their abuser. At first, I believed these young girls were the victims of Akibeel or Mordo, but they have both been gone for a while now. The killings have continued and I have found that such coincides with some meeting between Darmon and Endo.”

“So he is exercising his passions; do we not do exactly the same?” Hiwa explained.

“Not around here you do not. Darom cannot remain ours if the humans are of the belief we are not their salvation but rather their destruction. We are not yet so strong a people that we could withstand an attack by the humans should they decide to drive us from their midst,” Samyaza stated.

“So then we will have words with Endo. We will make her to lay with Darmon and sooth his wounds; calm him down so the molestations of the village girls cease,” Hiya reasoned.

Samyaza gave him a withering look, “Endo is not a human female, Hiya; she will not do as you command. She enjoys teasing Darmon; she enjoys rousing him to passions beyond his control only to deny him his release. Even if you do not, Endo regards Darmon as a pitiable creature deserving of absolutely no respect. Forcing her to lay with him will do nothing to heal the rift.”

Hiwa glowered at his father. He did not like having events move beyond his control, “What do you suggest then? Azazyel and Darmon retreat to Manoach and construct their own empire? They would then stand against us rather than stand with us. What you suggest only creates further havoc, father. It is better Darmon stay amongst us.”

Samyaza shook his head, “No, my sons. We will encourage Azazyel and Darmon to go to Manoach, but we will also help them to get established. If this is handled deftly, Manoach could become an expansion of our compound here in Darom. Our kingdom and Azazyel’s can still work in consort while we work together to build one another up. Darmon will have his own duties which will give him a level of autonomy while keeping him separated from Endo. It shall be done.”

Samyaza then dismissed his two sons with a wave of his hand, “Go and assist your cousin so there are no ill feelings between our two families. I fear I have already done much harm to my relationship with Azazyel that was not wholly intentional.”

Author Website

http://www.thegodprinciplebook.com

Best place to buy your book

The GOD Principle Author M.L.
