As a curious kid, I devoured every book I could on Greek, Roman, Ancient Egyptian mythology. I studied university in political science and languages. I speak five of them: french, english, romanian, italian, spanish (feel free to correspond to me in whichever language!).

My current hobbies outside of writing? Training dogs, running, reading.

So, how did I get into writing?

I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. I wrote my first novel, The Sage’s Legacy, when I was 14. It’s currently undergoing a new editing process, and hoping to release it along with the sequels sometime soon 🙂

I’m one of those people with an overactive imagination (my main #1 reason as to why I can’t watch horror movies!), so I put it all on paper. I dream about it, zone out about it, doesn’t really matter when or where, something’s always in my head.

And, sometimes, those somethings turn into novels. Like Avalon Dream! I dreamt one of the scenes, a night way way back, when I still kept a journal. Woke up at 5am, wrote it down in my faithful little notebook, and forgot about it for years!

My lovely fiance found it one day while we were cleaning, and asked me what it was all about. So I started telling him about the story, and as I’m talking, it develops into this larger narrative… And yep, you guessed it, I wrote it down. I worked on it for months, and spent even more months editing.

Description

“It was impossible they had met before – of that she was certain. Yet his hold on her was undisputable, an irrational pull to the utmost recesses of her soul.”

Vivienne du Lac has everything she could wish for – a normal, peaceful life, a good job, cushy nest egg, and a semi-social nightlife. The only problem? She’s clueless to being the reincarnation of the Lady of the Lake, Merlin’s apprentice.

Sebastien Dubois is the bad boy you wouldn’t take home to mom and dad – quite the opposite. The sexual chemistry between them is sizzling from the start – but there’s more to the tall, dark and handsome stranger. When a magical past tumbles into her orderly reality, he is Vivienne’s only hope at survival.

Caught between darkness and light, a battle she has no intention to fight – let alone the knowledge to win – Vivienne quickly finds out not even closest allies can be trusted.

Can she look within and become the enchantress Merlin meant her to be… Or will she lose it all over love, for Sebastien’s salvation? This is a battle between good and evil you don’t want to miss.

Book excerpt

The stranger, Sébastien, disappeared before Vivienne could identify where he was headed, and blended with the shadows. Earlier, when remarking her at the café, he could not believe it, and now to have been so close… What a fool he was!

After all this time, lifetimes later, and Vivienne had to come back when he was not master of his own fate. Keeping a distance was the best option, as it was evident there was something wrong and she did not remember anything from the past – their past.

So why did she react to the kiss as if she did know me?

Words and images from a different existence assaulted his senses. Long ago, they had known each other, had been more than friends to one another. Sébastien had been her guard, Vivienne his charge, and they fell in love. That was the past, and he could not bear to ruminate over all that had been lost, or of the reasons why.

He closed his eyes in an effort to hang on to a semblance of sanity. To be so close, yet so far away, was beyond tormenting.

Sébastien’s entire being craved to be with Vivienne, the promise to meet her lingering, a hope for something, anything. Yet she would require explanations, and he did not even have an idea of where to begin.

How could he reveal the truth, that they were pawns in destiny’s clutches?

“Sébastien!” The male voice broke past his fuming ruminations. It was not a soft inquiry, but rather a command.

The stranger wrenched his eyes away from Vivienne, and went to his jailer.

&&&

An hour later, close to midnight, Vivienne crossed the roundabout and arrived by the fountain. Sébastien was there, standing up from its edge when they were in close proximity. He extended a hand, almost as if to reach for her, but appeared to think better of it, and dropped it.

“You came,” he murmured, almost as if not trusting she would have. Without the noise of the crowd, the full effect of his voice permeated, and the young woman shivered at the husky tone tugging on her senses.

Vivienne melted the closer she got to him. She had never had such a reaction to a man, an impression of completeness as though he was a missing piece, and the world was set right just by being close by.

It was freaking her out, and she tried not to anticipate what her parents would say about meeting an unfamiliar man in a secluded place, in the middle of the night.

All these musings crossed Vivienne’s head, yet they were still staring at each other. The night was silent, with no one else around. Even the alleyways from the roundabout were deserted.

Their eyes collided, and that instant connection hit them both. Vivienne heard Sébastien’s intake of breath, and her own lips parted in response.

“Is this crazy?” she wondered passed the dry throat, clogged with emotion. She bit her bottom lip, shifting on her feet, and something softened in his countenance.

There was so much in that one gaze, but all Sébastien did was reach for Vivienne’s wrist, and gather her close. She tipped her head back to meet his eyes, and noticed the clenched jaw, as though he was aiming for restraint.

When her eyes lowered to his lips, Sébastien gave a small groan, bent her head back over his arm and kissed her, tenderly at first, allowing plenty of time to shove him away.

“If this is crazy, or an illusion, I’d rather never wake up,” Sébastien confessed against her lips, pressing her tight, the graze of his mouth against hers changing in intensity, and Vivienne clung to him as though he was the rock in the midst of a tornado.

The urgency from her flashback was there, barely held back, in the tightness of his body. She longed to ask him, dispute it, but all she could do was give in. He was the breath of life she did not realize was missing.

When Sébastien paused, minutes later, Vivienne moaned in displeasure. He withdrew away, barely a width of space between their lips. “Tell me if I should stop.”

She shook her head in denial, voicing the only question that mattered, “Do you want to?”

“Never. I’ve waited too long for this.”

And she needed nothing more – tonight would be enough. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she gave in to the sinking sensations.

Author Website

http://www.alexawhitewolf.com/

Best place to buy your book

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JTLWT2W

The basics?

I was born in Romania (yep, Dracula’s country!) in 1992.
