I registered yesterday, got a frown for my Profile not having enough info although there’s a 40-word limit (which I learned after trying to upload it).

I submitted an article idea (title: “Self-Editing: How to . .,”) in the Forum before realizing I could submit the full story for consideration which I did. However, I tried twice to submit it (HUB/Write for Us), saved the draft, and clicked Submit but twice got a 404 Error (Page not found).

    Thanks for help/clarification.

    Loretta,

I’m really sorry you are having issues. We have added a Thanks for submissions page now. When you submit your articles it will help you. I have also upped the limit on profile bio and image limits. I’m sorry! I have your article, and I am reviewing it. Also, please try your bio and image again, if you have an issue either posted it here, or email. This is just our first week working with an entirely new system….

Thanks for the update, Richard. It’s not unusual for new launches to have a few kinks to iron out. Patience and perseverance!

I’m having the same problem with my bio. My bio pic saves just fine but my bio won’t save. I typed it in at under 45 words, no dice. For the heck of it I tried to save it at maximum word count (a ton of c/p) and it wouldn’t save either 🙁

Hi Scott–I tried to reply earlier, but for some reason the delivery failed. (Hunh??) I was letting you know that on May 29 ER posted that the word count issue was fixed which, apparently, it is. I think they’re still working out kinks with the new launch. Good luck!

On Hanging a Stocking at Christmas by Charles S. Brooks

On Hanging a Stocking at Christmas (1920)  by Charles S. Brooks As Christmas is, above all, a holiday for children, it is proper in its season to consider with what regard they hold its celebration. But as no one may really know the secrets of childhood except as he retains the recollection of his own, […]
