Gravitas Ventures has acquired Worldwide rights to debut filmmaker G.S. Foxwood’s horror film Wild Eyed and Wicked starring Molly Kunz, Michael X. Sommers, Stefanie Estes, and Colleen Camp.

In this horror-thriller, a shaman instructs Mila to return a mystical bracelet, the Kawaturih, to the “Dancing Village,” a remote site on the easternmost tip of Java Island. Joined by her cousin, Yuda, and his friends Jito and Arya, Mila arrives on the island only to discover that the village elder has passed away, and that the new guardian, Mbah Buyut, isn’t present.

The film follows Mina, a 28-year-old artist, who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night.

Yellow Veil Pictures announces world sales today ahead of the Tribeca Film Festival world premiere of Yannis Veslemes’ sophomore feature and surrealistic science-fiction drama, SHE LOVED BLOSSOMS MORE. Written by Veslemes and Dimitris Emmanouilidis, the film will be positioned in the ‘Escape From Tribeca’ section of the festival, a genre specific sidebar of stand out titles with auteur-forward storytelling. Veslemes first earned acclaim with his 2014 breakout NORWAY, which debuted at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Opening in Japanese theaters just this past December, Lumberjack the Monster delivers the director’s trademark horror and humor in a cat-and-mouse chase between a serial killer and a psychopathic lawyer hot on his trail. Nestled near an infamous site associated with the Manhattan Project, lies Richland, Washington, one of three small towns in its vicinity. By July 1945, the site had three reactors operational, producing sufficient plutonium for both an atomic bomb test and the bomb dropped on Nagasaki in August of the same year.
