Q: Can I promote stuff here?
A: Yes! Unlike most message boards we encourage you to post promos for your websites, blogs, books, music, and other artistic sites. No crap spam like Viagra or anything unrelated to creating something new and beautiful in the world. EWR works hard to give artists and publishers an outlet to promote their work or works. We give you free classifieds:
http://www.everywritersresource.com/form.html. And cool magazine and book datebases. MAKE SURE YOU ARE POSTING PROMOS IN THE RIGHT PLACE on these boards. I just mean don't jump into a conversation and say, "Hey, come to my site!" Post it in a new thread.
Q: Can I put my websites, books, blogs, twitters, ect. in my signature.
A: Of course. If it is art or book or music related, we want you to get a many clicks from us as you can!
Q: What can't I post?
A: Anything that is offensive or inappropriate. We reserve the right to delete anything that WE feel offends, and to block any member that does not follow the rules of the board, both these and the ones in our disclaimer.
Q: What's the point of all of this?
A: We want artists, poets and musicians to do well. We want you to sell books, have 1000s of hits on your websites, have everyone read your blogs, including us. We love art, music, and writing. We kinda think writers, artists, editors, musicians, film makers, and other creative like people, or even people that like creative people are BETTER people. Yeah were kinda bias.
Q: What do you not want me to do on the board?
A: Fight and hurt peoples feelings. Don't be a jerk, and you will be just fine.
Q: This sounds great! What do you get out of it.
A: Well this board goes along with
www.everywritersresource.com, so we hope we get a little traffic. If you like what you see stop by our site. We have lots of resources for writers. We also, of course, want a community on the web where people can come and talk about creative stuff.
