Hi! I’m both a self-published and traditionally-published writer. I’ve also worked with all the models in between. Check out my web site http://www.katebaggott.com or follow me on twitter @baggyk so we can talk.

My gratitude, as a new unknown author. I commend those whom may it possible, for beginner writers, such as myself Authors writers,to have access to to sites, to encourage writer. We need to be informed about such websites, such as this one. And of course more website should be available to writers. I write short stories poems and songs. I’m not new to the craft, or art of writing, as far as time length of how long I’ve been actually writing. It’s been a challenge for me to get my work out there in the public. Writing always doesn’t come easy for me. I have to do a lot of proof reading. Going over my work. Revising my stories, and searching for that write novel. I would be more than happy to submit a piece every writers resource. If that’s alright. Thank You

Hi, my name is Allen Taylor. I write fiction in the bizarro and weird literature categories. I also write mainstream literary poetry. I’m interested in knowing how I can contribute to the community.

Hi, my husband and I have just started Willow Manor Publishing, we’re a hybrid traditional/self publish company. I was referred to your site by one of our authors. We’d be interested in talking to you about how we work.

    Thanks,
    Melanie Stephens

Greetings All…..At the time that I signed a joint venture contract with the publisher I am with now, I thought that I was dealing with a REAL publisher. By the time my book was released, I had no illusions left intact. The editing services that I paid for were not worth the money and headache, and the cost of printing, shipping and distributing my book, makes it very difficult to market. The publisher is only interested in selling me more services. They make the money; I do the work and pay for everything. This experience has certainly been an education! These days I am working diligently on marketing my book and making the best of a difficult situation, and writing my second book. It took me awhile to decide if I wanted to sign up with this website since my experience has made me hyper-suspicious. Funny thing is…I’d self publish again, but the next time I’d set my self up where I stood a chance of success.

It would be interesting to see the other side of the book publishing business, and perhaps learn about different routes an author can take to publish their work. How does a hybrid publishing company work?

I’m sorry some of you have had trouble with submitting your book covers. We only take files that are jpeg, gif, or png. This cuts down on tech issues, to be hones. I’m sorry about this, but at this time we can only take these formats.

    Hello everyone,

I know a lot of people are coming here to see why their book wasn’t listed when they filled out the form. Let me say first that every book listing that is listed on this site is reviewed by a human. I know it is shocking that we do it the old fashioned way, but we want to insure some quality in these listings.

That being said, please know that we have had an explosion of interest. We have a couple 100 listings to go through and post at this time. Please wait on your listing. It can take up to 2 weeks at this time to be posted on the site. I’m very sorry for this. In the very near future you will see many of these listings appear on our site. Just give us some time. Right now, if your listing is rejected for any reason, we will contact you. So rest assured your listing is coming soon. Richard

Is it possible to edit a submission that hasn’t yet been posted? I’ve noticed that when copying and pasting the description, etc., it should be done in block paragraphs with a space between each. I had copied and pasted with indented paragraphs without spaces between them. My mistake. I would like to redo with block paragraphs.

Not at this time. If you email me the name of the book and then just submit a new listing, I’ll make sure the changes are made. eds@everywritersresource.com

We will start interviewing in a little while. We are swamped right now. We are behind by 2 weeks or so on submissions. I want to say I’m sorry about this. We are reviewing and publishing. If you submitting a listing, IT WILL be listed, it’s just going to take a little time. We are coming up on some down time for publishing, at that time we will publish a bunch of listings. Also, please remember to check out the rest of our site: like http://www.everywritersresource.com/writingsense/ for articles and issues in writing and publishing…

As some of the others said above I would also be interested in an interview. I just self published my novel and am looking for some more exposure for my book Death Has A Daughter.
