B__Meditations Cocktail
Matthew Klane Catherine Daly
Catherine Daly’s Cocktail: Catherine Daly was a bartender on a river boat. Then, years later, she wrote Cocktail. What is mixology? It is the study of combinations, not solutions. In Cocktail, it is poetry. Cocktail is a chapbook-length series where poems are (mostly) about cocktail ingredients and methods. It is also notes for a project which would involve mixing the ingredient poems into new poems, perhaps using computer programs. Catherine Daly began to generate the device used in her forthcoming trilogy, OOD: Object-Oriented Design, in Cocktail. That book contains another poem series (Controller / Seedbed) which is notes for a different computer-based project.
Matthew Klane’s B Meditations: (Specimen Days, re Republic, World Series, Explore Tomorrow Today) is the premier collection in the Stockport Flats / Meander Scar series of experimental poetry. Geopolitics, spatial sonnets, bipartisan columns, definitive pitfalls. Divided horizons, evolving electorates, daily affirmations. For more information about B_____ Meditations:
