Rev.Joel Washington (Khunanpu Sangoma) is a Black Metropolis Chicago-Based Blogger working at the intersections of African American religion, creative production, and culture. Pastor Washington (Sangoma) currently serves on the Retired Leadership Roster of the Metro Chicago Synod/Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (MCSELCA). He is the lead Pastor of Reformation African Descent Lutheran Mission Church Chicago ("Young Barack Obama's organizing sanctuary").
