Profile: Helene Bowen

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Maryland. I am retired and living in Delaware with my husband and a rescue dog.
I enjoy writing and am now reaching out. My sense of humor escapes some people's sense of punster, but I have a serious side as well (and that they laugh at!).
I have had several shares of my "fifteen minutes of fame" and have secretly enjoyed them, however, with open modesty.
My experience as a sole proprietor Interior Designer had been rewarded until the economy faltered, leaving me with my own creativity and finding interesting jobs to keep me occupied and debt-free. I like to think outside the box, in fact, I taught a craft class that I called "Outside The Box" which consisted of the use and tooling of wooden boxes to create beautiful objects. I find writing short stories, whether truth with embellishments, or fictitious, totally engaging.
