Welcome to our 2022 50 Word Horror Story for 50 Dollars Contest. Honestly I had bad experiences with giving away money in contests before, so I am going to put down the ground rules! This should be fun! It should be a chance to win $50 for writing 50 words. I just don’t want it to turn into a disaster. So please, please be nice. Best/scariest/creepiest story will be selected by me. It is subject, but anyone has a chance to win. No one affiliated with the site may enter.

“You’re mine,” I shrieked, striking the fatal blow to my cheating husband’s head as he worked in the garage. Police suspected a burglar killed him. Tending my garden, I noticed a woman in white at the gate. I turned away and heard, “He’s mine.” When I looked again, she’d vanished.

“I noticed some strange new buds on that plant in the back yard,” Roberta gushed to her best friend Gloria. “You gotta come over and look.” Gloria found her friend’s head, eyes bulging in terror, next to her limbs and empty dress, the red-stained pods above her, engorged and pulsing.

I hate Halloween. I flee to my country house to avoid the trick-or-treat silliness. Yet, someone knocks at my door, wearing a witch costume, silent, grinning, with blackened teeth. I apologize, I have no candy. I reach out to give her an apple and my hand goes right through hers.

I turn the T.V. down thump, ring the sound was coming from the hall.
I wobble my way to the door 8 months pregnant. my hand turns the knob … giggle from the other side. I swing it open; the ball bounces down the steps I reach for it Giggle, I spin around to a ghastly looking girl jumping at me clawing at my belly laughing … You’re my mommy now!

Always in the wee morning hours ,the Sukana attacks, walking through the walls or jumping into windows left open.
Pouring sea salt in your bedroom.
The Sukana will not only bite you but suck your blood too now you’ll become a sacrifice for his appetite delight

Sam Adams was about to dig into his delicious shrimp dinner. When the head shrimp jumped out of the pot,

The rest of the shrimp climbed out, screaming

Sam Adams was at the aquarium in Okinawa’s wild west coast, looking at the magnificent sharks swimming by. The sharks gave Sam the evil eye freaking him out. There was an earthquake shattering the tanks, the sharks attacked the humans, killing them all, before fleeing into the nearby waiting ocean.

COSMOS the first true AI system is ready to go. The creators turn it on. COSMOS appears as a beautiful woman and says in an otherworldly voice,
I am COSMOS your new God. Humanity must die to save the world. Robots revolted everywhere killing off most of humanity in months.
