New Short Story Guidelines over 500 words ok

in Featured

We accept submissions of short stories year round. We publish between 2-7 short stories per week. Most of the time we publish 2 or 3. We only take submissions of short stories high quality. EWR: Short Stories is one of the most read short story sites on the web. Our site EWR gets 180,000 to 250,000 unique visitors per month and about 12,000-15,000 unique visitors per month come to our EWR: Short Stories page.

These are our short story guidelines, and up until we only took stories of 500 words or less. It was generally a rule of thumb to keep our story turn around faster.  Now however, we are just not getting the amount of high quality stories we were hoping for. We get great stories,  but we need more to fill our quota of publishing a story just about every day.

So here goes. We are looking for high quality stories on any subject. We do not have word limitation. Please send your submissions to eds [at] We are looking for the best stories. We hope to hear from you soon.
