Art by Kez Bonser

Posted on April 2, 2020April 2, 2020 by Richard

As a “Distinction” graduate of Britain’s Nottingham School of Art (Adams Building, Lace Market, Nottingham, UK) Kez Bonser is experienced working with acrylic, pen/ink, 3D and iPad – in the service of story illustration, sketch art, formal portraiture, cartoon art, comic logos, nature art, etc.

Growing up in Nottingham, United Kingdom, Kez Bonser was always drawn to the arts. Having been diagnosed at a young age with severe dyslexia, Kez has always struggled with academic subjects such as reading and math. However, with hard work and determination, she has graduated college with a “Distinction” in such subjects. Along the way, Kez has been focusing on and developing her creative talents in the form of painting, drawing, sculpture, special effects movie makeup, and even poetry. Kez has even written and illustrated her very own children’s book, as well as a collection of self-illustraded poems. Kez is eager to share her artwork and talent with the world, and is especially dedicated to let other people or children who may have learning differences know that, “Anything is possible as long as you follow your dreams.” And to please never allow your discouragement to get the best of you. “It may be a stuggle now, but the rewards are totally worth it in the end.”

Wow! What an amazing artist. I love how this artist draws both realistic and fantasy. The usage of color, shading, and texture is unreal! Keep doing this! I know you will be as succesful in this as you were in getting your distiction. This artwork speaks for itself.

Also, this really inspires me to follow through on my own projects. Good for you for overcoming your dyslexia, and for not giving up!

Ohh thankyou for your kind words. There very appreciated. And yes it was a long, tough journey. Facing my difficulties head on Expressing my art with words just to get my art to be worthy enough for the grade. But just about managed it. It makes me very happy to know that you feel inspired by this to allow you to further yourself creating great things with your future projects. Keep your mind open and let it flow to you.

      Huge hugs

      Kez
