Holiday Haiku Twitter Contest

Holiday Twitter Haiku!

Tis the season for haiku! To spread holiday cheer, we’re hosting a Twitter haiku contest. Compose a festive 5-7-5 syllable poem and tweet it to us @EveryWriter using #HolidayHaiku.

Get those creative juices flowing with holiday themes and imagery. Your haiku could feature:

  • Twinkling lights
  • Festive foods
  • Snowy days
  • Family gatherings
  • Finding the perfect gift
  • New Year’s celebrations

Feel free to add seasonal flair, but any holiday haiku topic is welcome.

Contest Rules:

  • Haiku must have 5-7-5 syllable structure
  • Tweet your original haiku to us @EveryWriter by 12/20/23
  • Use hashtag #HolidayHaiku
  • Holiday-themed haiku preferred

Winners get

  • RT on our accounts
  • Published in our print and digital magazine
  • We will pick 5 winners

Unleash your inner poet and distill the holiday spirit into poetic form. The best festive haiku tapped out in 17 syllables or less will be published in our print magazine.
