Blank Fiction is a new and independent literary magazine aimed at publishing intelligent and thought-provoking genre fiction. Each quarterly issue will call for a different genre or type of fiction to be submitted, and four of the best and brightest of those submissions will be selected to grace our Blank pages. Issues will be published in the Apple Newsstand and a free PDF version will be available on our “Issues” page.

Submissions

We are looking for intelligent and thought-provoking genre fiction for the themes we are currently calling for. Stories should provide a solid understanding of the traditional practices of the genre, especially if they haven’t been established yet or you are going to disregard them completely. Also, submissions should not exceed 15,000 words. Since we are being somewhat generous with the length, we reserve the right to stop reading at any time – so keep us interested!
