New Every Writer the Magazine

 Wow, this issue took a long time to put together. I wanted to do an issue all on the Short Story, and I wanted to high-light the stories we loved most from 2013. It turned out to be a big undertaking.

The problem became a long look at some of the stories we have published over the past year. It took a long time to decide which ones we really loved. We had so many that we liked (publishing 2-7 stories per week) that it was simply difficult to agree.

In the end we have this issue that has 26 great stories. We enjoyed all the stories published last year, but these are the ones that made the cut.

We were also very busy with the site itself. Every Writer has been going through some big changes. We have listed more and more literary magazines (it’s hard to keep up). We have also started publishing listings for Self-published and Small Press Books on our new listing site. EWR is ever expanding, so forgive us for taking so long on this issue.

If you have published a book and you want to promote it, you can now do that on our site. We are also looking for articles, and we are paying $100 per article.

We had a difficult year. There have been many reasons given for this, but the results are the same, small sites like EWR are dying, and well-know sites are becoming the only show in town. We ask you for your support. First, if you haven’t signed up for one of our mailing list, please do so! This helps us more than you can ever know. Also, of course, you can always donate to us. We need money to stay online, and even a dollar helps to keep us going.

We love publishing EWR and Every Writer the Magazine, and we want all of our services to stay FREE. Support us if you can, and we hope you enjoy this double issue on the Short Story.
