Discover the Magic of Words with eMerge! eMerge is an ad-free online literary magazine, powered solely by the generous support of our readers. As a proud 501(c)(3) organization, we offer a pure, uninterrupted literary experience. Join forces with our four featured partners and showcase your brand at prestigious writing conferences. Interested in becoming a featured partner? Reach out to us at editor@emerge-magazine.com. Our partners are: 1) WriterCon Magazine 2) Thw Writers Colony at Dairy Hollow 3) Blue Clover Editing and 4) the Ozarks Writers League We’re a passionate team in love with the written word. Fiction and poetry are our lifeblood, fueling our creativity and inspiring our quarterly publications: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. Ready to share your work? Our submission period opens in October and closes on November 30. Don’t miss your chance to be part of something extraordinary! eMerge Online Literary Magazine seeks avant-garde poetry and short fiction that pushes boundaries. eMerge values works that prompt readers to perceive aspects of humanity in novel and enlightening ways, encouraging a fresh perspective on life. Embrace the freedom to explore innovative and cutting-edge expressions of literature with us.

What we are looking for is the ephemeral, and the euphoric. We are looking for writing by people who are fascinated with the creativity that emerges from the tension of conflicting thoughts, the interplay between memory and narrative, truth and interpretation, perception and perspective, and art that straddles the line between genre, form, language, and symbol. At eMerge we love both the raw and the refined. The pain, joy, heartache, and elation. The thread that weaves its way through our short lives and binds our common humanity together, is both delicate and critical. We seek writers who will share their perceptions and perspectives of the human condition with us in their own unique and unrelenting voices. We seek writing that represents a level of understanding and expression that writers constantly strive to achieve. We seek writers that spend an inordinate amount of time skillfully crafting a sentence or choosing the perfect word or phrase to trigger a thought or put us into an emotional tailspin. We relish the inscrutable. Do not be boring! Please capture our attention. We adore diversity in writing, whether you are just beginning your writing experience or you are a well-established writer. We will consider previously published work if it fits with our mission. So please provoke us, generate some emotion, and make us think about humanity in a new way with fresh insights or doubts about the human experience.
