TWJ Magazine is an online publication that focuses on promoting wholesome entertainment and healthy living for readers of all ages. Each monthly edition features books reviews, author interviews, stories and articles from our regular and guest columnists, reading recommendations from promoted publishers and authors, and short stories as well as poetry and creative non-fiction from submitting authors.
The magazine maintains a website at that is updated monthly with new features, such as columns about healthy living (physically, mentally, and spiritually), motivational pieces and advice for aspiring writers, opinion columns, and book and character features. A monthly online newsletter with extra content not shown on the magazine’s main site is published on the 15th of each month and sent out to more than 4,000 paying subscribers.

TWJ Magazine seeks to publish wholesome short stories in a wide range of genres, from science fiction and paranormal to comedy and romance. We also publish creative non-fiction and poetry. While TWJ Magazine is owned by a faith-based parent company and widely promotes Christian fiction, we do not require that stories and poetry submitted to the magazine contain a Christian message.
TWJ offers a selection of advertising packages to help authors and publishers promote their work. We also seek to partner with companies, authors, and publishers whose mission is to produce and promote wholesome entertainment with a positive message.
Our current partners and patrons include Revell Books, Kregel Publications, Desert Breeze Publishing, Healthy Life Press, Ascot Media Group, and Home Theater Films. Also included are authors Wendy Davy, Mary Manners, Delia Latham, Marianne Evans, and Shawna K. Williams. Monthly columnists who contribute to TWJ Magazine are Author E.E. Kennedy, Personal Trainer Kellye Davis Williams, Author Terry Whalin, Dr. David Biebel, Dr. LaSharnda Beckwith, Brandon Wester, Michele Abhire, and Author Pamela S. Thibodeaux.
Submissions
We are looking for submissions of fictional short stories in a wide variety of genres, including science fiction, paranormal, historical fiction, comedy, romance, women’s fiction, coming of age, suspense, horror and more. Word count should be between 500 and 3,000 words. We will consider longer works but the story must be truly exceptional. We do not publish erotica, so please no submissions from the genre. While TWJ Magazine is owned by a faith-based parent company and widely promotes Christian fiction, we do not require that stories and poetry featured in the magazine contain a Christian message. Our main criteria is that submitted material be family friendly and free of profanity. We will publish edgier content so long as there’s a positive message of hope and redemption. We also publish creative non-fiction, flash fiction of 500 words or less, and poetry.
