Voyage of Verse is a poetry collective for high-school students, published in print and online semi-annually. Submissions are welcome from all students in 9th through 12th grades. Our inaugural anthology in the Spring of 2024 featured poems from diverse voices that collectively inspired thought and imagination. Voyage of Verse seeks to be a platform for young poets from all backgrounds and beliefs, a community where poets champion each other’s ardent, unique, and empathetic voices. We are honored to announce that submissions for the Fall 2024 volume of Voyage of Verse will be reviewed and chosen by celebrated poets Jee Leong Koh, Natasha Rao and Alexis Sears, whose magical wordsmithing have captured their journeys and captivated readers.
Submissions
We welcome poetry submissions for our Fall 2024 volume from all writers who are currently in high school, regardless of where you are in your current journey in poetry. Please submit a maximum of three poems, by November 11, 2024. There is no fee to submit. We only accept original work that has not been previously published either in print or online. We will not accept work which is gratuitously violent or sexual. We aim to publish 25-30 poems, with special mentions cited by our celebrated reviewers/poets. For this volume, we are honored to have esteemed poets Jee Leong Koh, Natasha Rao and Alexis Sears review our submissions. All published poets will receive a copy of Voyage of Verse, as well as prize-winning poetry anthologies by our three reviewers.
