Continue the Poem

Posted on October 20, 2023March 25, 2025 by Richard

This is our continue the poem page. Just like continue the story, we collectively write a poem together in the comments.

How It Works

The process is as simple as it is beautiful. We’re crafting a poem, one line or a few at a time, right here in the comments section. Each of you, as co-authors of this poetic journey, is invited to contribute your own lines, extending the narrative, emotions, and imagery. Watch as our collective creativity weaves a tapestry of words and feelings.

To participate, follow these easy steps:

Scroll down to the comments section.
Add your unique lines to the growing poem.
Feel free to build upon the lines before you or venture in an entirely new direction with your words.
For Example

One poetic soul might commence with:

“In the meadow’s embrace, wildflowers sway.”

And then, another may beautifully follow up with:

“Beneath the sun’s radiant, golden display.”

As we accumulate lines, there will come a point when comments are closed, and the poem will be meticulously gathered and curated, like a bouquet of words, to reveal our collective masterpiece.

Why Join the Journey?

Community and Camaraderie: Dive into a world where kindred spirits unite to create, share, and connect through the art of poetry.

Endless Inspiration: Draw inspiration from the lines of your fellow poets, and let your own words spark the imagination of others.

Diverse Expressions: Witness the beauty of a poem that evolves with a rich tapestry of diverse voices and stories.

Low-Pressure Creativity: Don’t fret if you’ve never written poetry before; this is the perfect space to try your hand at it.

Your Turn to Shine

Without further ado, it’s time to embark on our collaborative poetic journey. Scroll down, let your creativity flow, and be a part of something truly special. Your lines, your thoughts, and your emotions will breathe life into our communal creation.

Once we’ve reached our poetic destination, comments will be closed, and we’ll compile all the lines to unveil the complete poem right here. So, join us, add your lines in the comments below, and let’s continue the poem together.

Here are the first 2 lines of the poem:

The wind murmurs softly through the branches
Sunlight filters down upon the forest floor

The tiny creatures crawling along the falling and broken the twigs branches.
On the ever so greenly grass and dirt. Leaving one bold enough to explode.
