Embodied Effigies is a literary magazine in the works. We emphasize the community of Creative Nonfiction Writers, and the bonds that hold us together as we explore the aether surrounding our pasts, presents, and futures. |

What type of submissions are you looking for? |
Embodied Effigies is seeking Creative Nonfiction Writing. Send us your truths, your lies, and everything in that muddled-up grey area. We like experimental work as much as the straightforward memoir or personal essay, but most of all we want the “truth,” whatever yours may be. We are also looking for writing to feature on the website every month. |

The reading period for Issue Three will open February 1st. We will continue to read submissions through March 31st. After March 31st, we will continue to accept submissions, but they will be for Featured Writing or for Issue Four. |
